The VBS presentation uses the volume settings of your computer. The volume control in Step 3 sets the volume of the Music track relative to the Voice track. Think of it in this way, the voice track is always the loudest, after all you want to hear what is being said. You can set the music track to use the same level of loudness or it can be softer. Generally speaking the music track should be quieter than the voice track and by default it is set to 60% of the loudness of the voice track. |

The VBS Studio has a built in voice recorder. You computer must be set up to record via a microphone. While it may initially be a bit disconcerting to hear your own voice, while watching a presentation, the effect can be very compelling. |
