VBS Studio Step 1: Images and Text

Save your vision board. If you want to save as then use the save as feature in the menu in the top left of the control bar. |

The add item button will create another row in your vision board script. Each item consists of text, a title and an image. Items may be grouped so that you can keep items of the same category together. |

Select a row containing an item that you no longer want to have in your vision board. Clicking the delete button will remove the entire item, i.e., everything in that row including all text and the image. |

There are a number of way to add an image to your vision board script. Clicking on the add image button or double clicking the image column of the grid will open the Image Picker dialog. Select the image or images that you want and press ok. If you have selected multiple images then extra items will be create automatically to accommodate these images. It is also possible to drag images from your browser or windows explorer directly into the grid or by copy and pasting images. When selecting images make sure that the resolution of the image is of reasonable quality. When selecting images from the Online Image Library expand out the image first do not drag in thumbnail images. |

Images can be altered by applying a frame. The picture and the frame are combined to form a mask making part of the image transparent. |

Each item has a text field that is suitable for adding your S.M.A.R.T. goals or affirmations. To help you formulate affirmations the VBS comes with a useful library of affirmations that are grouped according to topics. Click on the affirmation library button to open up the library. |

The Title or Power Word Library is similar to the affirmation library. This button opens up a list of suitable titles categorized according to topic. |

The VBS comes complete with unlimited access to the Online Image Library. The image library is a valuable and easy to use resource and should be your first location to source images for your vision board. A account was set up when you registered the VBS, if you entered the information correctly then pressing the Image Library button will open your browser and automatically log you into the system. Find the images you want to use, make sure you either download the image or expand the thumbnail to full size before dragging into the VBS grid. |

The options button opens up a dialog that can be used to change font colours, font types and some basic behavior of the VBS presentation. |

The font color drop down components provide quick access to changing the font color of the Text and Title. |
