The Control Room is the central hub of the VBS Studio. From the control room it is possible to create a new or edit and existing vision board. The control room also has the ability to print and share your vision board.
To create a new vision board click on the “new” button and enter a name for your vision board script. If you intend to make a number of scripts for different purposes then use a descriptive name so that you can remember what the purpose of the script is.
You can edit your scripts at any time in order to change your texts, images, backgrounds and audio.
Open the print dialog to print off your vision board.
The share function is a very powerful tool. With share you can give your vision board to friends, family or work colleagues even if they do not own the VBS package. The share function will package your images, text and audio into installable file. This file can then be copied to another computer or memory stick. It is also possible to upload your shared vision board to our online storage service (completely free) and send your intended recipient a link to the file.
If you want to preview a vision board script then select a script from the list and click the preview icon. A windowed presentation screen will appear. You can set the size of the window and the theme you wish to use and then preview the script. The presentation window can also be set to “float” above all your other windows by ticking the “always on top” option.

If you use the VBS as your screen-saver then you should be setting which scripts are active. When the screen-saver begins an active vision board will be selected. Each time the screen saver begins the system will attempt to select a vision board that has not be played recently. This means all your vision boards will receive equal attention. To change the active state of a vision board script simply select the script and click the “Activate” icon, or click on the green/grey ball to the left of the script name.
If you no longer want to keep a script then you can delete it. Once deleted the script cannot be retrieved.
The control bar running along the top of the VBS Studio provides access to a number of functions that will later as you enter different parts of the VBS Studio.
