Options for viewing and displaying your Vision Board

You can view your Vision Board in more than one way

One of the main features of the Vision Board software is that images representing your goals appear on your computer monitor as your screen saver. This section will show how you can view your newly created vision board and will explain other options that are available in relation to the screen saver feature.

To set your vision board as the default screensaver click on the Set default icon at the right-hand side on the Finalize your Vision Board page. A confirmation message appears. Click OK to confirm. You are also able to set the default screensaver from the Wizard control panel and from the Taskbar Manager.

As soon as your computer screen saver is activated this vision board will be displayed on your screen.

How do I know which vision board script is set as the default script?

  • Go to the Vision Board Manager (located in taskbar)
  • Select the option Select Vision Board script
  • The bullet point in front of the script name shows you which script is set as default.
  • By highlighting a different script you can change the default setting

The default script is referred to as the active script.

Changing some display features
During the installation process, you were asked if you wanted to have the Vision Board software as your default screen saver (see section regarding the installation process). If you left this option ticked, it means that your screen saver will now appear after five minutes. The amount of time to wait before the screen saver begins can be changed.

To change the idle time:

  • Select Window screen properties from the Vision Board Manager
  • This option brings you to the Display Properties of your computer
  • Set the time by using the arrows or typing in the required amount.
In the display properties dialog you will also see monitor power setting. This controls whether your monitor will go in power save mode and therefore switches off completely. If you leave your desk and want to return to your computer seeing your screen saver/vision board in action you will need to choose the option of leaving the power mode option switched off or setting the “turn off monitor” time to a greater amount, e.g. 90 minutes.

No need to wait…
You can view your vision board at any point in time; you do not need to wait for your screen saver to be activated.

To view your active vision board script:

  • Double click on the desktop icon called; Vision Board

Or

  • Go to the Vision Board Manager (in the right-hand corner of toolbar)
  • Select Show Vision Board from the menu

Both methods activate the screen saver on demand. To close the screen saver just move the mouse or press a key on your keyboard.

Your Vision Board can be displayed in 7 exciting themes.
To select your theme: open the taskbar manager, select “show Vision Board” and choose one of the 7 available presentation themes. The next time your Vision Board pops up, this theme will be selected automatically again. To change the theme, simple go back to your taskbar manager and make your choice.

Vision Board Themes

To really make Vision Board work for yourself, we suggest to get into the habit of viewing your vision board at least twice a day with intent. For instance once in the morning to set you up right for the day and once in the evening before you go to bed, so you feed your subconscious mind before you fall asleep. Your mind will keep processing your Vision while you rest. Even your dreams can play a part in keeping your goals alive! In addition to that, make sure to have your Vision Board all around you by using it on your iPod, iPhone, digital photo frame and by having a print out handy in your bag or on the wall.
