Do you know the life of your dreams? Really know what it looks like and feels like on every level of your existence? We all set goals in different areas of our lives, such as health, relationships or careers, which is great. Some of us also visualize these goals by creating images in our minds or physically on our wall or computer using a Vision Board. This is even more effective, as this will assist in attracting these goals in to your reality. By visualizing them in detail, they become more and more real to yourself and particularly your subconscious mind. Especially when you really FEEL like you have already achieved this goal. You see, your mind works like a magnet; whatever energy vibrations you radiate and send out with your thoughts and feelings is what you will attract to your life with regards to events, people or circumstances that will assist you in reaching your goals. Therefore, the Law of Attraction is the Law of Creation. You create your entire life through your own thoughts!

I wanted to share with you a way to apply these principles in an extremely powerful way: by visualizing your dream life like being in a movie. A best seller hit movie called “My dream life”! Close your eyes, and start “acting” as the star in your own future! The time frame of your movie could be 5 years from now…

So image your life, 5 years from now. You have achieved the goals and dreams you had set for yourself and you are truly living the life you wish to manifest.

Describe as detailed as you can:

Where do you live; at the beach, in the mountains?
What does your house look like?
What will you look like; healthier, fitter, and younger?
Who will you be spending time with, how much time will you be able to dedicate to this person or these persons and what will you be doing?
To whom or what will you be able to contribute today, how does that make you feel?
What is your level of happiness, and your level of gratitude and excitement?

Really get into this. Give yourself permission to dream BIG! Visualize yourself living a wonderful life of balance in health, wealth, spirituality and social activities. Really FEEL like you are living this amazing life and know you deserve it. My recommendation is to do this every night. Why not spend the last 5 minutes of your day in your future dream life…. If you do this every night, with power and belief, and you take the necessary actions: one day you will find yourself living this dream life for real!

If you have been receiving this weekly inspirational email for a while, chances are you have an inspiring Vision Board everywhere in your house, reminding you of your goals and dreams .
But how about the rest of your family? Does your partner have a Vision Board? And if you have children; have you created a Vision Board with them as well? Focusing consistently on your own goals and dreams is just the beginning. The next step is to expand the energy around you by supporting your family in the process of visualization as well.

How powerful do you think it is when you and your partner are both clear on each others goals and dreams and especially on your mutual goals and dreams? Referring back to my example of last week: my husband and I share the same vision of our dream house and we both have an image of it prominently on our Vision Boards. Imagine how powerful our energy will be in attracting it into our reality!
On the contrary, what if I would visualize a beach house and he would focus on a house in the country….? Knowing each others goals also makes it possible to support and empower each other in the process of achieving those goals.

What about your children, do you know their goals and dreams? My son Oliver isn’t old enough yet to do this exercise, but I already look forward to the day that I can create a Vision Board with him. Children have the most amazing imagination and have no boundaries as yet as to what they can and cannot achieve. The have big dreams; they want to become an astronaut, Prime Minister, Superman… It is so precious to keep these dreams alive by teaching them early on about the power of visualization! So….

How about creating a Vision Board with your family?

Sit down with your partner, children, grand children, nieces, nephews… who ever is close to you and open to applying The Law of Attraction in their life. First talk about goals and dreams and share with each other what you would like to create in your life. Then -as a group- go and search for images, affirmations etc to include on your Vision Board. What an amazing way to spend real quality time with your family and help them achieve their goals. How powerful to learn more about what inspires and empowers the people closest to you!
